ASSEMBLYMAN DEVON MATHIS

 Representing California's 33rd District

As the Assemblymember for California’s 33rd District, Assemblyman Devon Mathis has spent his career fighting for the Valley. He’s fought special interests and has taken on extreme policies in Sacramento. Assemblyman Mathis is on the Committees on Appropriations, Natural Resources, Utilities & Energy, Governmental Organization, and Military & Veterans Affairs while being the Vice Chairs of the Agriculture and the Water, Parks & Wildlife Committees. Assemblyman Mathis has utilized his role as Republican Chair of Caucus Operations to fight for water access for Valley residents, a necessity in our drought-affected state. As the 1st millennial combat veteran to serve in the Assembly, Mr. Mathis takes the plight of veterans very seriously and has passed numerous pieces of legislation dealing with veterans issues. Despite being in the super-minority, Assemblyman Mathis will continue to work with politicians on both sides of the aisle in order to pass common-sense policies to improve the state of California.
